Dr. Catuncan is driven by the pursuit of excellence and has special interests in ocular disease, low vision, contact lenses, LASIK management, cataract pre and post-surgery management, vision therapy, and pediatrics. She is also a proud volunteer for the national InfantSEE program which works to detect and promote awareness of eye conditions that can affect children’s vision long-term.
Dr. Catuncan completed a 13 month residency at the Eye Center of Texas in Houston, Texas. The program focused on the management of ocular disease, pathology, and ocular emergencies. She had the privilege of working under the guidance and direction of both ophthalmologists and optometrists. Within this clinical environment, she learned how to incorporate the use of medical literature and critical thinking into effective patient care.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, eating, working out, and is an avid sports fan.
